I went to a local(I think, does anyone else have a Natures imporium) pet shop and there Beardies were pretty healthy. I noticed that it wasn't as warm as it should be (87F) and I asked about it, said that it was fine, I disagreed though. And they even said they change lights every 6 months and fed veggies which the dragons eat and dusted with supplements. But the cages were to small, still I was pretty proud instead of the conditions of the Petsmart and (luckily) we dom't have a PetCo. Speaking of PetCo, I tried to contact them telling them to consider revising their caresheet for Bearded Dragons and you can't even get hold of them through e-mail.

Yeah, well here in Clarksvegas, TN I went to my local pet store to find a empty water bowl, (I realize bearded dragons don't need water, but the fact that it was empty showed me that they aren't caring much for them) food strung out all over the cage, 4 full grown tail chopped beardies 2.2 just chillin' in a 55 gallon. They also had 17, 3 week old babies in a 10 gallon with a bucked of mealworms. Awful!!

Thats when I'd be like "Hey if you do not get these bearded's in a bigger tank, with small crickets and a tiny pieces of chopped up lettuce, I will be calling the cops, news reporters and the ADA."

Even though the ADA can't do anything, you can say hey, the city needs to sue this company for abuse of their animals.

Unless you have an ASPCA in your area (aka: animal police).

i have a petco and a petsmart and neither have dragons...petco's care sheet IS crap though, and i did see just a little pet store and went it and they had a beardie a nice healthy looking one and all the specs seemed right he was a normal color and what i thought was normal for his size and they had all the right foods and stuff so i was happy, they had a uro too i wanted to buy it but i wasnt allowed by my girlfriend lol, she still complains everytime my dragon goes to the bathroom and i miss it for more than like 5 mins bc it stinks...lol
