Male or Female

I was wondering what are the main differences between male and female ball pythons. i know that females get bigger, but what about the anal spurs. do females have them also? pictures would be great.

THANK YOU

Both sexes have spurs.

Females do not get bigger in Ball pythons, males can be just as large.

Most females are larger, but males can grow just as large if fed as well as the girls.

agreed...in general I see more large females (even taking into consideration the females that are fed more for breeding weight...I see the same in pet snakes). But the largest Ball python I have ever seen was male who was a girthy 6 ft. Difference might be able to be seen in spurs but it is by no means accurate because variation among both will be enough to be sizes of either. The difference is males have paired hemipenes to deliver sperm and females take that sperm and lay eggs with it.
