The new (and final!) outdoor shed begins...

Niki Jul 01, 2003 12:10 PM

Teddy's pen was closed up smaller so we could work on his
permanent outdoor shed now. We've got some surprises in
mind so I hope it'll work out nice. My garage is a supplly
warehouse and my husband will have time to work on it this
weekend I hope.

as Teddy has to almost squish into his old house entrance way.

And I bet he could get at least another year's use out his current house.

that house isn't suitable for cold weather use. Sure I could
enlarge the door and he could use it as a summer shelter for
another year or so at least. But my purpose is to have a winter
house for him and that will have to be insulated and be heated
with a basking area also - plus I'll have to be able to get
into it to clean and feed. Opening the top of this house in
the winter would allow the whole thing to be instantly cold even
if it were insulated which it's not besides being way too small
to have a basking area seperate from a more stable temp of 70 or
so to get away from it.
