Hey- does anyone know a place in the Miami area where I can catch, or view wild Iguanas? It has always been my dream to catch one. Thanks! Brooks

On Miami Beach, there is a golf course on Alton Rd. that has a huge population of iguanas, and most other golf courses probably do as well. Near water, theres usually iguanas. They're quick though.

I strongly advisen you not to tangle with any larger iguanas but they can be found almost anywhere in Miami and its surrounding areas. I've noticed that some of the iguanas in the keys tend to be more adjusted to people and some will let you walk right up to them. Good luck.-Cole
Right behind the Miami Seaquarium..They are loaded back there. They are pretty common on Key Biscayne too, especially on the links gol course. You will see Iguana crossing signs on the Rickenbacker causeway...The can be approachable behind the seaquarium for photography, but, they can be nasty....Good luck...
Are Iguanas native to Miami or introduced?
My reptile collection and research
Introduced.Along with many other subspecies of lizards....
