If it doesnt eat in 1 week I would release it...they have a remarkably fast metabolism...I would try to feed it a freshly born pink scented with ground skink puree.....it is doubtful it would refuse a live ground skink but unless you have access to a steady supply you dont want "to spoil him"...where and how did you catch him?
