Hello!

beanjacksahead Nov 25, 2004 05:09 AM

I saw that lots of people are building inclosures lately. I plan on starting one as soon as it gets to cold for me to go outside. Hope you all had a good thanksgiving... It's strange for me being in canada, we already had it as our harvest comes earlier, the strange thing is I read you guys are getting snow! It snowed once and melted in minutes, been a little frosty but thats it so far. I've been rock hunting and made a hide and basking spot for Annabellas future home, I think she'll like it alot. She's been doing good, no liquidy stool since. She's doing pretty good with her apitite. I know she comes out in the morning but tends to stay in her hide unless I stick a limabean in front of it. Once she comes out she's in and out the rest of the day. I guess she likes the attention more then she lets on. I finaly got the pictures developed that I took. The first one she's all mad looking and was a little scared but then she came right up to the glass and started posing I haven't gotten on the internet in a while so that's why it's been so long, hope the pics make up for it Just hope no one worried about Annabella.

What a pretty little girl! I'm glad to hear she's doing better. And if a little extra attention is what she needs, then I'm sure you won't mind providing it.

I think she pretty
I'm glad she's responding to me now so no, I don't mind giving her the attention at all.
" i thought you said once that you had an egyptian but that looks like a mali to me."
The truth is I didn't realy know because the little book I had didn't have any colour. Her previous owner is a vegitarian and told me that she got her because she was the the most vegitarian lizzard(most likely she wanted one less common then an an iguana)and the egyptian was the only one I had seen that had a similar body type and was the most vegitarian so I just figgured. I was doubting she was for a while and when I saw your pic of Helga I was pretty shure she was a mali.

One thing I was wondering about...
When I go to feed her I call her and make the Universal animal call(clicking noises). When she gets scared and won't take the limabean I offer I keep clicking to try and get her attention and she clicks back Has anyone else heard this? I'm just hoping that I'm not "arguing" with her or something
If it is arguing I seem to win cause after about 3-5 rediculous minutes of conversation she tends to to come out and take it. I could see how a big scarry person clicking could be anoying but I can't seem to pass it up on the chance that we're almost comunicating.

My Uro has never clicked at me, but it sounds like fantastic fun. Sorry I don't have anything USEFUL to say, but just had to tell you how much I enjoyed the picture you painted.
