So far I have
Males: Osiris, Whiplash, Recoil, Orion, Ulysses, Ghost in the Shell
Females: Isis, Demetae, Medusa, Briseas, Pytho, Melusine, Princess, Mermaid and Superman.

The last three females belong to and were named by my daughters who are 4 yrs old.

Future names I'm considering
Male: Tyr, Tyton, Asmodeous, Ra, Baal
Female: Andromeda, Trance, Gemini

I love mythology and go that route I also am a big Sci Fi fan and use names from my fav shows.

Always remember when naming your Ball Python that the most important thing is that ALL Ball Pythons are deaf and don't care what you call them.

I hope that this helps

I have quite a few snakes and all have a name. I do not always remember them all but my girlfriend can help me out sometimes on a few. Usually I will ask a little kid like a 2 1/2 year old daughter of a friend of mine. They usually can tell you the names of animals. (most of mine are named after characters on Dora the Explorer). The reason is to make it feel more personal and not just another snake in the house. When I was living the dorm life with a ball python no girl would ever want to go near "the snake." But once they got to know "Claudia" and saw her curled around her stuffed monkey they loved her and would always ask to bring her out and hold her. To me, the snakes having a name makes me look like less of a wierdo (setup for streamwood people reading) that keeps snakes and more like a person who is passionate about snakes.

You are so right. While I lived in the dorm, the ladies really liked my snake "Woody".

Thanks for the memories
