Question about shedding?

S1NPLYS1K Nov 25, 2004 10:26 AM

Ok...i'm a little confused...

at the time shedding occured i had 2 anoles and a house gecko in the same 10 gal tank...i'm not sure which of the 3 shed (pretty sure it wasn't the gecko)...well n/m let me just get to my question...

when anoles shed...do they stay brown for a few days or so before shedding? I posted a week or so ago with a question pertaining to why he stays brown...and since i found shed-skin in the tank yesterday he's been nothing but green the entire time and still is actually now (save some brown pigmintation on his head)...

i'm assuming it was the bigger of the 2 that shed...the smaller one was green to begin with...i only saw him brown maybe once...but yea...see above for my question...sorry for rambling ;]

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. All of mine get grumpy and don't eat right before they shed. He might be expressing his discomfort.

he could have been b4 shedding...honestly he's hyperactive and doesn't seem @ all like the same lizard...it seems that his personality has completely shifted from what it has been for the past month i've had him...

it's like my lizard is skyzophrenik or something lol...thanks!

Too bad you think he's male. You could have named him Sybill.
