My Blue Beauty pic

aokage100 Nov 25, 2004 11:14 AM

Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you everyone who has answered all the questions I've had so far. You have been really helpful and welcoming in the forum. As far as my decision on which new beauty to get, I've decided to get both! I'm very excited! I'll post more pictures when I get them. Here are my pics if my blue beauty before she's about to shed. Ok, it's my first time doing this so if I screw up then you know why, hehe.

I actually don't know exactly how old she is....I got her from a reptile store. But right now she is almost 4ft so I guess maybe over 6 months? When I first got her my blue used to be really nippy and used to always strike. After continual long holds, she doesn't bite anymore. When I first pick her up I just have to be gentle and within a couple of minutes she'll relax. Occasionally she will shake her tail but that's all. She is actually really content with staying on your hand or hanging on to your neck. How is your blue beauty?

i dunno mines about 20 inches at 4 months or so...so maybe 8-10 months? i know they reach around 5 feet by a year of age so it may be righta round a year or a few months younger, im really not sure.

nice pics tho! nice snake!
