Nice looking shot! My CB adult female doesn't strike unless you smell like a rat, however, that picture sure does remind me of my LTC female that laid 14 for me this year. I've never gone out of my way to handle her, so there's no reason for her not to be feisty. I love that pose though, my Het T negativ radiata does it great, but her sister, my full albino T negative radiata, isn't real feisty at all.

Great pic, Randy. I can't help but think ratsnake and racer when I look at it. Shows the ventral keeling very well; also the vertical flattening of the neck which is shared by several genera. Thanks...TC.
Eight foot snakes can have bad days. She dropped a nice clutch this past year. Good luck this coming season Randy. Looks like
