Hi,
Some Knights eat pinkies and some do not. As part of a varied diet they are great for them. I wouldn't trust a large Knight around any species of tree frog. I've read literature accounts of Knights killing, not eating, spiny-tailed and rhinocerous iguanas. Granted a frog is not an iguana, I'm just pointing out they are aggresive animals that can kill another species that can't be eaten. Knights' normally breed in the spring and lay eggs during the early summer. If you haven't had a pair that has mated already, you may not get lucky this time around. I have a trio in an outdoor enclosure here in SE Virginia. I get eggs every couple of weeks, but have not observed any more mating behavior. Here is a photo of my male gulping down a meal. I won't say what, as not to suffer the wrath of some members of this forum. Just keep in mind Knights also eat other lizards.
Good luck with your breeding attempts, let us know how you fair.
Chuck H.
