>>don't think i want a female ... ahem ... so i guess i'm asking if anyone knows if two males 4 years apart can live together?
There are never any guarantees - about two males, two females, or even a male and female. That is why, when anyone decides to get a second (or third, or...) ig, they need to make the commitment up front that if they are not compatible with the established ig, that they each be housed completely separately, in suitably sized housing, for the rest of their lives.
You'll find more info in my Introducing and Housing Multiple Green Iguanas article.
