need opinions please

Ok, My heat tape is not working as great as I had previously thought so I am thinking of getting the ceramic heat emitters the light bulb things with no ligts). I think that would work pretty well, but I thought the same about the heat tape. I can build some kind of wire mesh cage or something around it. Does any one else use it. If so how good is it. I am not aving just a horrible tiem with my tape but I am not doing any good either. Thanx in advance.

Justin, I've used CHE for awhile and am not at all satisfied. Of course in the winter I keep my house around 68 so I need a heavy duty, efficient heater. I use a Radiant Heat Panel. I know they are expensive but they work. How big is your enclosure? Is it insulated? If so, where and with what. Also, try the Cage and habit Design forum in Kngsnake and read through the threads.
