Temperature and sex

Hello ,a high temperature produces males and a low Temperature produce females, doesn`t it ?, but could you tell me how it affects , whaT `s the value of temperature that produces females and males ? ThanKs.

You don't say if you are talking about alligators/caimans or crocodiles so I'll give you information on both. The information comes from research of Dr. Jeff Lang.

American alligators and caimans:
Females = 82-86 deg F
Males = 90-93 deg F (note: higher temps result in gross deformities and dead embryos)
Mixed = the intermediate zone.

Crocodiles (based on five species of crocodylus):
Exclusively Females = 82-86 deg F
Predominately Females = 91-93 deg F
Predominately Males = 86-91 deg F with highest ratio at midrange.
