Let's take a VOTE on proper shipping temps for live reps/amphibs

rugbyman2000 Nov 26, 2004 11:29 AM

Alright guys,
I know everyone has their own opinions on what's safe, what's border-line, and what's totally off-limits for shipping live reptiles and amphibians. So I thought I'd put it to a vote and see what opinions everyone has out there as we go into the COLD winter season and folks still want to ship reptiles. So the question is:

What is your reccomended HI and LOW weather temps for shipping reptiles overnight? (Assuming they're in insulated boxes with heat or cool packs of course.)

Any takers?

I received a bushmaster in mid-January when we had a slight warm spell and it was low 40s.
