Can anyone tell me, can a ceramic heat emitter be placed on the metal screen tops of say a critter cage? isn't going to hurt the screen or nything will it??

It should be fine I've even used them on those mesh reptariums with out problems. They dont put out a really tights beam so it usally won't burn unless its touching. Just make sure you watch the temp or get a dimmer.
