I just bought some for the first time tonight from california silkworms. I also heard good things about them. I know Robert (IntheBlue) uses them maybe he has some info. I hope they can replace some of my stinky crickets! Good luck!

I sure liked silkworms for the couple of weeks I had them(Spike liked them too). They are fairly expensive though, if you had an incubator and a mulberry tree it's not to hard. I'd be breeding them if Spike was younger and needed more meat. Go to mulberryfarms.com in their FAQ section it has all the information needed.

Yeah, silkies are great! You can order 10,000 eggs for 35 bucks from Mulberryfarms.com..... That would really be the way to go in my opinion as you don't have to mess with cocooning and breeding the moths. The only real downside is the food for them could get a little expensive if you were trying to grow them out to adults.

The beardies LOVE them and they are much more nutritious than crickets! The best part of all is that you can leave them in the cage with the beardies allday and not have to worry about your beardie getting bit or stressed.

And like Matt said Mullberryfarms.com website will be able to answer all of your questions about what you need to do for bringing them up.

Later,
Robert
