Arabesque het albino?
Salmon arabesque het albino?
Albino arabesque?
Sunglow arabesque?
Or a totally new type of arabesque?...
I really wanted to save this new one for the weekend for us non-travelers.

Lets see what you got. Give us something to look at while we're stuck at home on Friday night. Please.

an arabesque het albino.
I love the ONE thing that's proven to set the arabesque apart from other "pattern" mutations.

JeffGray Nov 26, 2004 07:14 PM

The one thing proven that sets the arabesque apart from other pattern mutations is that it not only can you ADD color to them... THEY will ADD color if ANY yellow is involved in the breedings! ! ! YEAH BABY !

the salmon variation.
Starting to sound like a Thanksgiving recipe
This is the original salmon arabesque 100% het albino.
This snake is DEEP in shed, rough to the touch.
I will include this animal in the new arabesque pattern post.
Not only does this animal have superior color, but a distinct pattern that differentiates from the traditional thin line saddles of the original arabesque. They are indeed thin BUT also bowtie & salmon like as well . Or hour glass black widow looking pattern. At first I believed that the hypo could have influenced the pattern. But not long after we produced this animal Tom & Pete produced some salmon 100% het albinos (Those guys are great). They however did not exhibit this pattern. Not only that... I have one, ONLY one normal arabesque from the same litter with NO hypo that expresses this same pattern. I have no idea if this will prove out but I hope so because I like it!

Jeff, I am waiting patiently to know what the new arabesque is.......please show tonight. Thanks Andy

I'll get some better pics after the shed.
Here is the pattern that is on the salmon het.
It's the same hour glass black widow pattern that is on the salmon arabesque het albino. But there is no hypo in this animal. It's not the usual, straight, thin saddle that is on the arabesque. I really will get some pics after the shed. There is also a more defined lateral stripe on the cranial end.
I think it's waaay cool. Hope it proves out.

JeffGray Nov 26, 2004 09:29 PM

on the anterior end of this arabesque.
So it isn't just the hour glass / black widow pattern on the saddles. It's also the extreme lateral striping, different from the normal arabesques.

My girly's come a long way since I first got her. She's deep in shed in this photo. I'm hoping she'll go for us this year but so far no visible follicles yet...I'm hoping she'll develop them later on though...

We shall see!

Thanks,
Celia
