Not sure of it's locality. I would guess the central part of their range (Croatia, Greece) due to it and another I have from the same bloodlines colors but that's just a guess. Randy

that I have yet to work with. That's a beautiful female situla Randy. Mark is right about her pattern. Situlas have the nicest rat snake head pattern in my opinion. Thanks for sharing a pic of your female.

I found a beautiful one on the island of Crete back in the 80's. The local pet shop was selling them for $30. My how times have changed.

Make sure they have a cool side that is at least in the mid 70's as they like it a little cooler than many colubrids. There great snakes and are hardy in general. Randy
