What is Lavender???

Can someone explain this to me? Genetics, etc?? I bought a calking female who is supposedly "light lavender", but I dont think she is.
Here she is, neither are the greatest of pics.

Either way she is very nice, beautiful snake.

Looks like a regular albino cal king. The eyes look like a regular albino (red). I have seen some Lavenders that look like regular albinos as adults but were really "purple" as babies. My adult Lavenders are definitely different than my adult Albinos. Lavender is a simple recessive gene like albinism but are not compatable. If you breed a Lavender to an Albino you will get normal looking cal kings that are double-hets (albinism & lavender).
