This guy will be put to the test this year for sure.He was a little small last year at 18 months

shannon brown Nov 27, 2004 05:17 AM

old but this spring he will be 30 months old and ready to rock.
He was from a dbl-het hybino breeding so he is 66% het for hypo and or could be hybino?
I will be breeding him to a couple hypos to see what he is made of.
I will also be breeding him to a ghost in the hopes that he is het hypo or hybino cause that will produce some hypos that are 100 % het for anery and amel(snow).
Does anybody know what that meens???????????

I am also working towards Hypo DH Snow's, all Albino's born from such pairing would be Hybino and most importantly every snow looking hondo would be a Triple Homozygous honduran...

An Opal Honduran would sound good but I was thinking ''The Oracle'' We know it exist but not many have seen it!

The race is on my friends!

Marc,
I would say that the first person to acually produce a known triple homozygous will be able to name it.
I like your name as well.

shannon

p.s.even if mine doesn't prove out to be hybino or even het hypo I have a friend that has a proven amel het hypo and we are breeding it to a ghost also so we will have some hypos dbl-het snow this comeing year,We should see a known triple homo in three years max.

If I make it to the finish line first they will be called pearl hondurans not opal,Opal is already taken in the corns and its a amel lavender? We should probably reserve the name opal incase we get a lavender honduran going?

That's one of the nicest albino Hondurans I've ever seen. are his "white" bands still white, i ask because i usually see albino Hondurans with yellow bands like in albino nelsoni. you may have a Hybino on your hands or a very very very nice tangerine albino,
Good luck with him.

I'm thinking Hybino... all the albinos i've seen turn yellow with age. Can't wait to see what he'll produce. keep me posted!
