Pretty cheap. How much do you get your hoppers for locally? a dollar a piece? i suggest getting it switched over to rats soon because by the time it is eating all the time on rats (probaly like 2 months from now) it will be takeing rat pups and rats from stores are EXPENSIVE ($4 for a small/medium here).

Do you have any friend herpers in your area?
If so ask about ordering Frozen rodents with them and split the shipping.

I get mine from a large local pet store where a buddy of mine writes up the rats I buy as mice, cutting the price in half. Makes it good to buy in bulk

I get mine from cajun mice, an online place that has good quality and can vacuum pack them in 3s and 5s.Definately the cheapest place. Consider buying a lot and maybe having friends go in with you to split shipping

I order my f/t from RodentPro. I just received 250 rat pups from them last week. I have had good luck with them so far. I am still buying my live mice and rats, (for the ones who won't eat f/t yet or maybe just aren't in the mood on a given day), from the the local pet shop, but that's starting to get expensive. I'm gearing up to produce my own live rodents, but I'm trying to feel my way slowly. We currently have three litters of mice with several more litters due any day now, and we have two litters of rats so far. We are in the process of building a rodent building that will be heated and cooled to keep the temp in the 70-80 degree range.

I hope everyone had a great holiday. Take care.

I've ordered from rodent pro and was not pleased. the mice were disgusting. some were decapitated, others had bald spots, most had their tails chewed nearly off and all were underfed. the best mice I've seen came from the mouse factory. They're vaccum packed and arranged in neat little rows.

I have only ordered from rodentpro one time, but that one time I didn't have any headless or bald rats. Maybe you just had a bad batch
