POLL: How rubbermaid container users heat their enclosure

annakiya Nov 27, 2004 11:49 AM

Just wondering how everyone who is a rubbermaid user heats their enclosure. I use a UTH under one end with ceramic tiles underneath the UTH to stop my desk from getting to hot. I also use a "dayglo" lamp on the cool side during the daytime hours. Pics would be cool if you've got any.

Flex-watt (11 inch) under hot side (91 deg), controlled by Ranco thermostats.

The room is heated by an oil-filled heater also controlled by a Ranco thermostat to create cool side temps.
80 days 73 nights during breeding, 83 constant for the rest of the year (when needed).
