hibernating/dead pacman

sirfugu Nov 27, 2004 12:00 PM

I discovered my pacman was no longer alive yesterday when i thought all he was doing was hibernating. It all started one night when i accidently left the lid to his cage open and it got really dry in there. When i noticed it in the morning i sprayed him down and kept him really wet for the next couple of days. Then i realized he didn't look so good. He was scrunched up and had a film covering him so i sprayed him down and it came off. I put him back but the next day it was the same thing. So i got the skin off again and he seemed happy as he did before. The next day it was the same story so i figured he was just hibernating so i left him be, until yesterday when i found he was no more. Any ideas on what happened what i should have done?

I don't know what might have happened actually. But the "film" you are talking about is a layer they put on themselves when they hibernate. Was he under ground when he was hibernating?
