I have come up with a cool way to watch your turtle if you are letting them roam a field. This comes in handy when you let your turtle out and you don't want to watch it every second. If you get a rubber band that fits snuggly around the shell and tie a shiny piece of string about 5'-10' long. Put the rubberband around the shell so the turtle cannot scratch it off. This should only be used in fields so that the turtl cannot get the leash stuck on anything.
