what is the best gecko to by? lepord or frog eyed?
there are a few questions i would like you to answere....#
1)do the smell?
2)what type of set up do you need? PHOTO'S PLEASE
3)can they be fed anything apart from crickets?
4)easyest to handle? do they bite?

i would have to go with a leo even thogh i like frog eyes better.leo are esier to care for and dont sress like frog eyes.the setup should not smell as long as you do regular maintenence every 2 days or so(spot cleaning,etc.),although you will still have to clean out the whole cage at least once a month.set both these lizards up in a desert cage.provide a water dish and 2 hiding spots for the leo(a regular one and one with a moist substrate in it like moss).for the frog eyed different people have different oppinions.some use a moist sand substrate so the lizards can actually burrow or they put pvc sections in the sand at angles so the frog eyes can have a ready made burrow.i hve kept them like this and like the leopard geckos above.as for handling a leo is the best.frog eyes skin is very easy to tear and they will drop their tails very easily.hope this helps
