I disagree with the other response. I alternately feed various prey items to my ball pythons and have done so for years. Rabbit pinks are fine. Typically, it is best to feed pinkies of any rodent after a couple of days old to get the most nutrients possible from their mothers milk. However, by varying the diet and age of prey, you should be fine. I find some stubborn feeders to go nuts over rabbit pinks.
My ball pythons (and other pythons) feed on rats, mice, rabbits, quail, and chicks. All frozen thawed with no problems. Although, poultry tends to leave a smeller and messier mess, it is a nice supplement on occasion.
