In 1998 our friend Peter Watson called Lloyd Lemke looking for some Surinames. Lloyd didn't have any, but sold Pete some south Brazilians that Tim Belknap had produced. Pete raised them up, and after he passed I bought one of the females. I bred it this year, unfortunately the big boys I put with her had already been bred to proven females, and were apparently almost out of gas. Almost. She produced this one little guy. Usually when there are a bunch of slugs the females drop them early, and any babies are preemies. But this girl held out full term and produced this perfect baby. She gets a year off, then we'll do it right. Can you imagine a whole litter of these? The pics are very accurate. I wish I could pick up the colors of my Surinames this accurately. This one goes out to you, Pete.
