I have been following your posts. Rhinos are more fun than greens. I would suggest a bit more home work. Get on weather.com or some weather website. find out the capital of the DR and type it in, it escapes me right now, and get the weather report for that city. since that is where rhinos live keep your temps and humidity in the range of their native habitat and you are doing fine. remember that basking temps should be much higher than the weather report high temp- 120's. SD Zoo goes as high as 150. You dont really need to soak them at all. They dont soak in the wild.
Hi there, I dont worry too much about the humidity with any of my cyclura. They seem to tolerate a much lower humidity level than my green. Of course one of my rhinos is in with my green in my reptile room. That room has a misting system set up primarily for the green and for the redfoot that is in an enclosure in there as well. But my yearling is in my living room with a powersun and not much in the way of extra humidity at all. And here in CT it is pretty dry in the winter. I do soak him once in a while. Maybe weekly. But not daily. He doesnt appreciate misting but I do that to him once in a while as well.
