I can not believe this.....Some questions on housing two corns.

Well I took Eden and the other snake to the breeder in Asheville to help me feed her. It has been such a shocking day I dont even know where to start. Frist of all, the guy has delt with snakes for 30 yes and highly recommended. First of all he told me there was no way Eden could be 6 months old. She looked to him to be more of hatchling age. He wanted to know where I got her, and I told him one of the local chain pet stores needless to say I got one of those looks. This is my first repital, and I have learned so much, I just wish I had of learned earlier. I left her with him, and the other corn, which by the way is no Lavendar, but Snow, but she is still beautiful. I am going to keep both snakes. I will be picking them up Saturday, so I'm going to spend the next few days setting up some sort of houseing system.

I know its not smart to house both snakes together, I have a 10 gallon tank, I think I'm going to get a simple sweater box and set it up. My question is, what is the best way to heat one of those. I have a spare room I can use. I really dont know what I need to ask, so any advice will be welcome and taken to heart.

I just got a call from my friend Sarah at the breeders, they just got a pinky leg down Eden. This has been the first food she has taken in 5 weeks. I'm very excited. And hopeful. Sarah is going to call back tomarrow, I hope she keeps this down.

Good news, indeed. We all have been following your saga with interest. As for using a rubbermaid I think that is a great idea. Very inexpensive way to keep your snake and actually they seem to thrive in them. As far as heating I use a $10 human heating pad from Walmart. You can use one for two tubs. Just set the end of each tub on top of the pad. The heating pads are adjustible by three so you can experiment with how much heat you need according to how cool the room is. I use the small water bowls from Petsmart that have cut out's on two sides I guess for your fingers when picking up. But they make great hides water bowls and the snakes love them. The tubs hold the humidity better than an open top tank but you can control that by how many vent holes you place in them. Keep us posted on her progress.
