SOMEONE SAID THIS IS THE MARKER FOR HET FOR PIED

i bought this girl from my pet store of the people i know and i bought 3 babies when they were 6 weeks old and i was told that they got them from Ian Gnaizdowski and they might be het for something only noone knows what. tonight the new owner of the petstore came over and was like omg take her out take her out
and i was like ok and he swore up and down that she is het for pied because she has some kind of marker on her, now i dont know so im gonna ask the forum i have 3 pics to post

Far as I know, and keep in mind i am far from an expert on ball pythons, but there is no external markers for het's. It's only a genetic marker and unless the animal is showing the morph you want (ie a pied showing the large white bands) there is no external guarentee.

pied markers are contested and have been proven at least somewhat unreliable. They are located on the belly of the snake, near the tail, not the sides. Similar marker traits are commonly found on normals too, so don't get too excited.

show the belly which is where the marker trait for het pied would be. Remember that normals can have the same marks also, and I doubt Ian G. would mix a het pied in with normals that he is selling.

supposedly he knows the owners of the petstore because the chicks hubby has bought alot of stuff from him and he sends her the good stuff ill get a pic of the belly tonight
