Freedom breeder cage questions or Metal Rack Question?

smilin-buddha Nov 27, 2004 07:02 PM

I am looking for some tips and measurements for racks. I am building a rack for my snakes out of metal. I will be using the Iris tubs. I was unsure of how much space in between the rows. The size of the supports used. Or sleeves that the square tubing is welded into. Also distance form heat source to the cage above. Any pictures or tips would be great. Thanks Buddha

I would get the tubs first then measure them. It depends on what size tubs you are going with. If you are going 3 tubs wide I would get 3 tubs lay them side by side like they would be in the rack. And take measurments from them. It can vary so much and depends on tub size and thickness of metal use.
