Because I am frightened of poping my pastels sperm plugs I have not checked. Therefore, before I put my Ready normal male with my breeder female, I put my 700g, 7 month old male in with her just in case(nice run on). Would hate to loose the chance of having some pastel babies. Will he still lock up with her even though he could not be ready with sperm plugs?

If you don't want to pop him then toss the two in together and "let them tangle". It will happen or it won't. Heck, I tossed (not literally. lol) a pastel het 50% ghost in with a female yesterday and walla, copulation! I tossed him in today with a female and walla, the same thing!
I put him in a few days ago and nothing...Put him in again and BAM! hehehe.
