Hi guys,
I've got a new albertisii, but I can't understand if it is a gold, black or brown. I think it's a black: it's very tame and the ventral scales are graysh, not white as in the gold phase, but I still have some doubts. Can you guys hel me with it?

I got it from Anna Rosbouer, from germany.
Yours are black or golden? 'couse this one has been sold me as a black phased, but I'm still not sure about it.

I think mine are "normal" White Lips. They would probably be considered Gold phase, but there are some Golds that are much lighter. The photos of Black phase I've seen are much darker and obviously different. I think there are some Black phase pictured in the classifieds now. Take a look.

well I just had another look at the picture and saw that its still a neonate. In this age black and golden wlps look almost the same. Blacks are just a little bit darker in color. But I still believe this is a golden one. Anna usually has a good reputation and I can not imagine that she should have sold this as a black to you. She sometimes has black wlps and knows how they look like.

I really don't know what to think about it. Anna sold it to me as black, infact she had also a golden, and she asked 250 (or something like that) euros for it, while for my supposed black she asked 350 euros. I'm not so experienced in albertisi, so I trusted her considering the good reputation she has, and there's no missunderstanding on the fact that I bought it as a black phased. Now my only hope is that it will get darker with time as a real black albertisi.
