My leo was trying to eat his carpet

VTEC Nov 27, 2004 09:50 PM

Tonight I noticed my leo taking bites at his Reptile Carpet. This was as soon as I walked in from work and he hasn't been fed yet all day. I'm guess he was just a little hungry. Is this normal?

um its not normal, i guess he's mistaking the carpet for food. I've personally heard bad things about toes and teeth getting stuck and tails dropped because of reptile carpet but i won't go into that.

One thing though you might want to keep an eye out for ingested pieces.
Good luck
