so i picked up what im pretty sure is another female anole to take the males attention off my sole female. The new anole has a dewlap, but it is very small, and barely sticks out and is VERY faintly red in a small area. She(i think) has no bulge under her tail that i can see, and she has a mid-dorsal line and her head is very slim and matches her body almost. My males head is larger than its body and you can easily tell where the neck ends and head begins. The only thing ive seen to suggest the new arrival is in fact male is the fact that my male and my new anole have both looked at each other while extending their dewlaps. the males is VERY large and pronounced, while the new one is very small and hardly even sticks out at all. but this still could have been mating calls because they have not attacked each other or made any hostile movement yet, despite crawling over each other a couple times.
