I know that it is standard practice to breed jungle corn to jungle corn or even jungle corn to corn, but is there any problem with breeding jungle corn back to a king. When doing these crosses, is it necessary to do the switcharoo like when you cross a king to a corn in the first place or does the king recognize a jungle corn as its own?

What you need to remember is that the f1 clutches of most hybrids are not that pretty. It is in the F2 clutches where you breed back brother to sister that you get spectacular specimens.

To answer your second question on breeding a jungle back to a corn.. No switchero is required.

What about breeding jungle corn back to a king, does the king accept the jungle corn as a natural mate or does the king require special treatment as it did to originally breed a king to a corn? What if you are unsure what kind of king was used in the jungle corn cross? How would you handle breeding back to a kingsnake then?

thank you for the compliment. Actually the snake pictured i got from Hdean. I had nothing to do with producing it. It will be brumated and hopefully produce babies this '05.
