Hello All,
i have been reading this board for a while and have learned tons!! I have a few questions! First, I have a bout 10 females all well over 2,000 grams and 3 pastel males..
950 g Pastel Male
600 gram pastel male
450 gram pastel male

All of the animals are in ther 4th week of cooling and the 950 gram male has only bred one female and he has been put to 4 females and doesn't really seem interested. Is there any suggestions on how to kick start the big male??

The 600 gram male is producing plugs but again doesn't seem interested.. Is he too young to try to breed?

Little guy is not even producing plugs so there is no question there..

I have put the 2 bigger nales together and they are not even interested in each other..

Any help would be awesome!!!

It may not be the male that is not interested. Females can definitely put the kai-bosh on any potential mating plans before they happen. Rapid tail wagging and general non-responsiveness can stop even the most amorous of males. Its not always the male's that are not good breeders.

leave the heat on during the day and as soon as the sun goes down turn off your lights and lower the heat spray BOTH animals generously with water then put them both together and place the FEMALE into the males cage let me know how that works out 4ya
