...thayeri, just one of the extremes in the variability of pattern with this amazing kingsnake. Milksnake phase animals have the wide saddles or bands, leonis phase are thin saddled specimens. "Intermediate phase" as some call them are somewhere in the middle and a bit closer to the milksnake phase, intermediates don't show up nearly as often and are considered somewhat rare and difficult to produce. Variable kings are by far one of my favorites due to this extreme variability.
I bought three thayeri at daytona. They were non-feeders so I got them cheap. Two are tri colored. One is tan with thin brown bands and they are siblings. All are eating fuzzys after a rough start on anoles.
