Water Help?

Davpacker Nov 28, 2004 03:19 PM

I use the water that is in the jugs for my toads. Could i also use well water that we put salt in it to make it softer. Just letting it to sit for 24 hours would it still be bad for my toads.

You can buy a product for like 2$ at a pet store you just place a certain amount of liquid per gallon and you have instant amphibian safe water.I suggest you buy it its alot easier then cycling 24 hour old water and putting salt in your frogs water is not a good idea at least I don't think.....

Hey. I would stick with bottled water. I use arrowhead mountain spring water. don't have to add anything to declorinate it. i don't think salt water is a good idea either.

Well it doesn't make it salt water it suppose to make the water not hard.We drink it,it don't taste really good since it's well water but it's all we got.
