LTC blues do what....

Conrad Nov 28, 2004 04:01 PM

Well, you'll never see my CB pair doing any of this, but I couldn't let everyone out there think Randy had the only one with attitude! lol This is fairly commonly seen behavior in WC and LTC specimens. My CB's have never done this, nor most of the offspring that they have produced for me.

AMEN TO THAT!!! The first month or so that I had my CB, she would bite me constantly. Just recently has she stopped, with handling her two times a day about 10 minutes a time.

What she does now, is she'll crawl out along my arm and slide off to try and escape... i never thought she would get that smart!

Wow, I could MAKE just about any snake in my collection bite, but my NA ratsnakes are more prone to strike than my Blues have been. Now, my Taiwans are a lot more flighty then the blues, but not really "bitey" either.

Great action shot.I have to ask did you get bit?I never see anyone using hooks in here.

Not really any need to be brave when there's nothing to be afraid of right? Even though she's a fairly "naughty" snake, as long as you don't make any quick movements, your fine. No, I didn't get bit, I just know how to "push her buttons" enough to get a show, but not bit. In fact, she's my most aggressive blue, and I've only been bitten by her twice, both times I let her to show exactly how little there is to worry about a snake bite. (Of this nature of snake anyway) But thanks for thinking I'm brave! lol
