Shed and how often

I bought this new leopard gecko and I've only had him two weeks and he has already shed twice. Is it normal for them to shed that often?
Also does it have to do with skin getting too tight? *the gecko getting fatter*

Yup its totally fine, and it does mean you're fattening the little guy up

That's normal, especially when it's younger. It means it's growing up !
