feeding time

Will leos only eat in darkness - or will some eat during the day?

If their cages are dark, but other room lights from other herps are on - but not shining on their cages (dusk like envirnment), is this ok for a night setting?

Also, do they need day/night cycles and how many hours of each?

Thanks in advance.

My leos know it is time to eat at around 6pm, so they are usually waiting for me to give them their food, and it is light out

Mine eat when the see me... honestly depends on the gecko, my crested will not do anything so much as move if the lights are on. anyhue, you do need lighting cycles. Just ambient light from a window should be sufficient.
some one should know the exact times if your geckos are in a pitch black room
