I grew Frogs and I need some help.

First the background story.

In September we had 3 hurricanes pass through my area within about a month. With all of the debris clogging the drains, we have several inches of standing water in the gutters for weeks. One day while checking the mail I noticed a lot of action in the water. Turns out the gutters were full of tadpoles. After the 2nd hurricane, we sat with the windows open that night (no power) and all you could hear were the frogs croaking all night long. I guess it was great weather, if you're a frog. I take it upon my self to scoop up several hundred tadpoles. Knowing the gutters would either drain or dry up, I put them in 2 large containers. Well here it is 2 months later, I have released about 50 baby frogs and still have many tadpoles to go. My wife and I decided to keep 4 babies and watch them grow into adults.

I would like to know what kind of frogs I have and if there are any online guides on how to care for my frogs. Currently they are housed in a ten gallon aquarium, that has dry land on one side and water on the other, with 2 rock structures for them to swim in. Do they need heat, bubbles, more rocks, and so on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh and all water has been de-chlorinized, or is spring water. Thanks.

Eek you shouldn't really release frogs from captivity into the wild unless you really know what your doing. You could unknowingly release a disease into the frog population and do more harm than good.

Thanks for the education lesson, but I asked what kind of frogs I have. I am only looking for help on determing my frog type, I have taken care of everything else through a local pet store owner. He can not identify the frogs either, so we thought we would turn to the web for more opinions.

They could be green tree frogs but I can't really tell from those pics. How big are they?

Right now they are about 1" - 1 1/2", but they only lost their tails about a week ago.

They are a type of tree frog for sure. Where do you live? May help pin point the type.

Heres something I noticed tho:

On this pic on the lower frog you can see the white stripe on both sides comming back from the eyes. This tells me its probley a green tree frog.

If you could get some closer shots of one of the more mature frogs from the side and under belly and I could tell you for sure. These frogs are also really easy to take care of but please transfer the matured frogs to a clean terrarium so they dont have to hang on that side and get them away from that sick water.

As the adults can climb out of the water they are removed from the not so plesant green water (if it still is water). I can get better shots and post them when I get home from work. I live on the east coast of central Florida in Brevard County.
