Randy Remington has some good photos of pied marker bellies. If you search the forum, you should find em.

Actually I'm a little disappointed in my picture but maybe it helps a little. The biggest of these three 25% chance het pieds with the marker out of 50% chance het pieds with the marker is shown too far forward to see the marker but you can get the idea from the other two. Basically you look for a wide (all three belly scales across) white belly with solid thick dark marks along the edges, particularly in the last 1/3 of the snake.
