I recently got a pair of 3 yr old beardeds. When do people consider thier dragons to old to breed safely?

12-18 months is considered old enough, and for females 350g+ but preferably 400g+. In case you haven't already checked out a site for breeding then you should at least visit Dragons By Nature Breeding stuff

My question was at what age do people retire their breeders?

Oh! Then for males once they start producing infertile eggs,
I have heard of ones still breeding at 9 years! I'm not sure on females probably about 4-6 years.(?)

Something to consider as well was whether or not they were previously bred, how much they were bred, and from what age.
