compman Nov 29, 2004 04:16 AM

I was wondering, when it says that the Temp in the terrarium should be between 82-90 (for example) does it mean the Ground Temp or the Air Temp ?

Thx !

it means the overall temp of the tank. mainly it means the air temp but you have to make sure that it is a relative temp. not just 85 degrees in one corner but 75 on the other side. all paces in the tank...left/right/ high/ low should be the same temp

All reptile cages should have a hot, and not as hot side.

true. the snake should have a slightly cooler side but dont make it too drastic. usually 5 degrees or less of a temp change is good.
