I have a small corsnake. And i am planning to obtain 2 foxsnake juveniles. If the snakes are aprox the same size. Can i keep them in the same inclosure? Or is that not a good idea.

Get them each their own cage...even if you just pick up a couple of rubbermaids or sterilites as backups. You will be glad that you did...and so will your snakes. Duffy

own enclosure, except for breeding. Even when I put them together for breeding, I separate them back to their enclosures to eat and relax. Some snakes can be kept in the same enclsure, but people generally do it for their convenience or comfort not the snakes. You are keeping a snake in a captive environment for a long time and you should think of the snakes comfort first. It is stressful for snakes to be in the same captive place. They must compete for food, position, themoregulating, hie sports, etc. They aren't comfortable together when in blue eye. You definitely do not want a foxsnake and cornsnake of opposite sexes in together even for a moment. They may breed. There are more reasons to keep them in their own captive environment than reasons to put them together. Almost all reasons to put them together pertain to the person not the snake. You can put them together, but I recommend that you don't. If one gets sick, they probably all get sick. It's easier to isolate a problem with one snake in there as opposed to multiple snakes. Rubbermaid and/or Sterilite containers are inexpensive. Nice looking cornsnake. Great pic thanks for posting and goodl luck.
