What is a Chondro?

CaptainHook2 Nov 29, 2004 05:24 PM

I hear all about Chondros but never really seen much on em. My top snake is my burm, which by the way I thought he was 9' and now he's 10 & 1/2 feet, but the Chondro looks really cool. Are they expensive? Right now I don't have much time for allot of research (planning my unit's Christmas Party for 300 people) so if anyone wishes, let me know what's up with this Chondro thing. And don't worry, if I decide to get one I'll surely do my homework.

They are a demanding snake and you need to do a lot of research. They are also quite expensive. I would say if you like the arborials then maybe go for an amazon tree boa..they can be beautiful and they do not all turn green. They have a nice attitude on average that you can count on strikes most time you open the cage and will sometimes look at you veins and just sink in at random. But they are way less demanding than you Chondros and your emerald tree boas. and they are more tolerant to a variation of environment.
