Is he sitting under his basking light or a warm spot? He could just be getting over heated and trying to cool off.

We need more info!! What is the temp in the room and cage? Describe your setup, lighting, temps, watering, supplements in detail. This could either be overheating or an upper respiratory infection. If the cham does this during a basking session but he stops once he moves out of the heat, he's just too hot. His color may be light and pale too. If he is sitting with mouth open all the time, not moving much, is a dark color, shows signs of blocked nostrils, gulping, sticky mucous in the mouth, etc. he needs a vet ASAP. These are all signs of infection that will need antibiotics.
